This website is currently partially accessible. This means that many requirements of BITV 2.0 and the international WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) guidelines are already met; the following points are still under development.
What isn’t working optimally yet?
Currently, the following obstacles still exist:
- Media content and visual presentation : Text and buttons on images sometimes exhibit insufficient color contrast. Furthermore, some images and videos lack alternative text, subtitles, or audio descriptions, which limits accessibility.
- Forms and navigation: The newsletter registration, contact form and search function are currently not fully accessible and must be manually converted to new, accessible versions.
- Page structure and layout: The layout of the product pages is being modernized and the heading structure on individual pages is being revised to improve orientation and understanding of the content.
- Manual accessibility checks: Link and button texts, color-coded information, and visibility in Zoom currently require manual checks to ensure that all content is accessible to users with disabilities.
- Documents and interactive elements: Some PDF documents are not yet fully accessible. Additionally, embedded media require the addition of controls to ensure easy usability.
